stop-bullying

Toronto

When I set up my Wi-Fi router I disabled the broadcasting of my router ID.  This means that someone has to know my router ID to connect to it which doesn't protect me from uber-hackers but it does keep out the riff raff.

Well, some people have decided to use their Wi-Fi router ID to send a message to that special someone in their neighbourhood.  I ran across this article at PassiveAggressiveNotes.com that has a number of examples of creative router IDs.  My personal favourite is "YourDogSh***InMyYard".

I may have to reconsider disabling my router ID.  Perhaps something like "RCMP Sting".
