Some of you may remember that during the 2005 World Junior Hockey championship that Canadian fans descended on the town of Grand Forks, ND (pop ~50,000) and drank so much beer that the town ran out.  They had to ship in a fresh supply from a neighbouring town.

Well, it looks like we did it again.

I just saw on the news that we have almost drunk the German pavilion at the Vancouver Olympics dry.  They have been forced to request an emergency shipment of 300 kegs to keep up with demand.  By the end of the games they estimate that they will serve more beer than the Turin and Salt lake games...combined!

Our "Own The Podium" campaign may not have worked out the way we had hoped but we definitely "Own The Bar".
