After a few failed attempts retracing the trip as best I could remember I was finally able to find the location of the floating restaurant in Laos I went to with Greg 1 (see story here).

To see it go to the Google map of my trip, scroll to the bottom of the list on the left and click on "Floating restaurant".  This will open a bubble on the map with the details of the location.  Click on the "Zoom here" link and switch to the "Satellite" view.

The restaurant we went to was on the south shore.  If you scroll to the west (left) you will see an number of aqua farms in the river.
